About This Project

A couple of months before graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology (2008), he joined Deaf Rochester Film Festival team as their graphic designer intern. As DRFF was planning an innovative and colorful marketing strategy for their 2009 film festival, they looked to broaden the appeal of their event beyond its repeating past attendees to more youthful audience. Matt’s main responsibilities were to create a new branding and then manage all of the graphics, medias, branding and prints. Matt ended up doing darn well that the board asked him to coordinate and put¬†together a program book. Still to this day, Matt couldn’t believe he actually managed all of his responsibilities¬†on his own.
